Gallagher's Pizza Express is coming up on its 2nd year anniversary in April of 2007. The owners, Brian & Erin Eagan, are no strangers when it comes to building this extraordinary pizza. They have been around it since it was introduced over 10 years ago, by David Himes and his family.
They had been thinking of opening their own Pizza Shop and in April of 2005 they stumbled upon the opportunity to open one in the City of Southport. Having been southsiders all their lives, and Erin actually growing up in Southport, it sounded like a great opportunity. “Everyone who works here is someone we have known, either through another Gallagher’s endeavor or is our actual immediate family. We like being in a small town and feel quality is more important than quantity.."stay small but sell the best product" is our motto. Their 2 year old daughter Taylor Renae, plays “pizza mascot” a few times a week, so be sure to say “hi” when you come to pick up your pie!
